It’s an okay adventure with a message so profound that even Ryan Reynold’s delightfully smarmy charm can’t smother it.

Is identity defined by accomplishments listed on a resume, or does it live in the heated, hidden, squishy parts of the soul? I think both things can be true.

You can’t just look at two teams on paper and know how things will play out. Apparently, the same goes for massively enjoyable movie stars.

It’s a roller coaster of a movie - you will arrive at the end a little out of breath, a touch nauseous, but grateful to be alive and telling all your friends they totally have to try it.

If you love origin stories, dig your action a bit on the silly side, or enjoy shaking your head and grinning at big picture nonsense, you will probably enjoy this movie.

This is the true companion film to Inside Out that Soul wanted to be.

Morrison spends most of his time posing in front of his foes like some insecure Alpha-dude at the gym trying to show how tough he is. It’s as if Morrison believes all before him will either fear him or follow him based solely on posture.

No Way Home wants to give Spidey fans everything they’ve ever dreamed of. And it does.

I’m not sure this is a road I want to go down, but you can’t argue with Spielberg’s results. The new West Side Story is lights out fantastic.

Maybe it’s unfair to compare this movie to A Christmas Story. We don’t compare every painting to Picasso. Nor every song to Beyonce. And we certainly do not compare all crunchy processed food snacks to the almighty Taki.

My attention and empathy shouldn’t depend upon “relating” to this young kid who grew up half a world away, but I do relate to him. And it makes it that much more gutting when his world begins crumbling around him.

This movie pulls off the Apollo 13 Challenge. I’m not talking about the actual space mission, which by the way was also super impressive.

Making a film that holds its spell over you after it’s over is a major accomplishment. What’s strange and a touch disappointing is that it rarely held my attention that much while I was watching it.

The film does a great job addressing the racial elephant in the room. Or more accurately, the racial elephant at the country club sipping a daiquiri, lounging poolside.
